Plan Forward ("the app", "we", "us") is developed and operated by CatWave Solutions, Vazhakkala, Kochi, Kerala, India. This privacy policy describes what data Plan Forward collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
Plan Forward is a local-first application. The following data is created by you and stored on your device in a local Room (SQLite) database:
This data belongs entirely to you. It does not leave your device unless you enable optional cloud sync (see section 3).

Plan Forward offers an optional Google sign-in for cloud backup and cross-device sync via Firebase. When enabled:
Cloud sync is opt-in. If you do not sign in, no data leaves your device.
Plan Forward uses local device alarms and scheduled notifications for task reminders, morning planning nudges and evening review prompts. These are generated entirely on-device. Push notifications (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) are used only if you are signed in and have enabled sync. You can manage notification preferences in Settings → Notifications or via your device's system notification settings.
We request only permissions necessary for the app to function. We do not access contacts, SMS, call logs, camera, microphone or location.
Plan Forward is suitable for users of all ages but is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If cloud sync is enabled by a child, a parent or guardian should supervise the process.
Local task data is stored in a standard Android Room database on your device, protected by Android's application sandbox. Cloud data is transmitted over TLS and stored in Firebase, which is certified under ISO 27001, SOC 1/2/3 and other standards.
We may update this policy as Plan Forward gains new features. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where required by law, notify you in-app.
